Relax. Breath. Assess.

I wrote this in May and forgot all about it.  It has been in my Draft box since. do I have my finger on the pulse or what?

My son mentioned Gary Johnson in a text today. It is the second time someone had mentioned Johnson in a week. It makes one think. So sit back, relax and consider your alternatives.

I still see Trump-ettes gloating and Cruz-ers complaining on social media sites. The media will make you think there are only two candidates left in the presidential race. And if not for FBI Director James Comey slow-walking the Clinton investigation (he has made the FBI political tool like the IRS), there might have been only one Democrat.

If you look at the polling data, there are more voters dissatisfied with a choice of Trump and the felon than there are people happy about it. I don’t recall a situation like that in recent memory. The number who don’t like or respect either candidate (regardless of their intention to eventually vote for one) is in the vicinity of 60%. That is a critical number. 60% of all voters think the front runners are clownish and immature (Trump) or phony and untrustworthy (BJ Bill’s wife).

This provides the electorate with an opportunity not seen since Lincoln. As I tease this out, keep in mind that in 1860 most people saw Lincoln as an affable oaf. Enough people in the states that participated in the election saw him as honest enough to elect. So cast aside for a moment the grand images we have of Lincoln today, and think like a person who might be in the 60% mentioned above.

The talking heads on all networks like to tsk-tsk and smirk at the idea of a third party run right now, but as I eluded to, the Republican party in 1860 was a lot newer than the leading third party we have today.

The candidate put forward by the Republicans was far less experienced than the leading alternative candidate we have on the ballot in all 50 states this year. Unlike Donald Trump, this candidate has chief executive experience of the kind that is not entirely driven by a what’s-in-it-for-me motivation. In real life, Trump was a financial funnel more than an actual chief executive anyway.

Unlike Hillary Clinton, the alternative candidate hasn’t destroyed women on behalf of an ethically bereft spouse, used his office to strong arm hundreds of millions from foreign governments, or needed the protection of a corrupt president to cover her felonies. And that is just a short list. It is worth mentioning also that EVERYTHING Clinton ever attempted in an official capacity has failed miserably.

In the person of Gary Johnson, a person I tend to agree with about 50% of the time, we have a two-term Governor of New Mexico. A proven anti-tax warrior (Trump wanted to raise them before he wanted to lower them, before he wanted to raise just some of them. Sanders gains an auto-erotic thrill at raising taxes.). Johnson reduced taxes in New Mexico several times and never increased taxes during his tenure.

He is a consistent enemy of run-away national debt. Both Democrats are debt producing machines.

Myth, Lies and the Rubes That Love Them!

There are a number of myths that have grown out of this election season. Sadly, there is no shortage of people who have happily abandoned reason and skepticism to gleefully immerse themselves in the mythology.

One myth I like most is the talk of Donald Trump’s “genius” in dealing with the press and labeling. In gaining press, Trump has had to do exactly NOTHING. Because of the circus-like atmosphere of his events, the certainty he will say something stupid (which will be immediately reworded by his cult), and the fact that the press wants him to win the nomination, no genius had been needed in getting in every news cycle.

Consider this. Before leaking he was going to make a VP announcement, when was the last time you saw a FOX News camera, in split screen trained on an empty podium over the words “Awaiting a Cruz Event”? This, while the talking heads went on with the rest of the news. When was the last time you saw an anchor raise his hand and say that Cruz was at the podium and they were cutting to the event, no matter how important the news at hand was?

I’ll save you the energy. The answer is once or twice since the beginning of the election season. But three or four days a week we see that camera pointed at a Trump podium with the anchor breathlessly announcing they will be cutting away the moment the Donald arrives to speak. Here’s breaking news; the same news that was broken here since last summer. The media are carrying Trump. All the major networks and newspapers do because they can’t wait to destroy him in the general election and FOX because they don’t want to get scooped and miss yet another cringe-worthy speech.

No other candidate has gotten such fawning treatment from the media. BJ Bill’s wife is the only close second.

On labeling. I have repeatedly heard that Trump is a “master” at labeling the opposition. Really? I mean, EFFING REALLY?! The examples of this “mastery”? One is “Lyin’ Ted”. Say anything you want about Ted Cruz. But you can’t change facts just because Trump chooses to ignore them. Not only is Lyin’ Ted not a mark of ANY kind of genius; but it refers back two or three months to issues that Cruz truthfully stated that he personally had nothing to do with. In one case, he fired the staffer who did. No matter for a growing number of fatuous fairy tale lovers among us. The cult leader came up with the ingenious name that a 4 year-old could have invented. So it must be true. Brilliant!

Another “brilliant” label: “Crooked Hillary”. It seems that Trump was the last person on the planet to discover Hillary Clinton is a lying, unscrupulous criminal. So Trump mustered all the marketing ability he’d learned in a lifetime of exaggerating his worth and abilities. He studied the situation intensely and came up with the incredibly creative moniker “Crooked Hillary”. His cult followers, and enablers like Eric Bolling, cheered the amazing creativity on display. Who on earth could have thought of such an amazing label?

Personally, I think “BJ Bill’s Wife”, coined here, is a far better reference, but that’s just me.

And what of other myths? Here’s one. “Clinton cares about black people.” Unless you aren’t an Occupy Wall Street sissy or living under a rock, that one SHOULD leave you in stitches. There is no evidence on record anywhere outside of an election appearance that indicates Hillary would give a damn if all the minorities in the country slid into a sink hole. And she wouldn’t. Clinton ONLY deals with any minority on a wholesale basis when it is going to benefit her. Since the only time talking to a roomful of black people during an election will benefit her, that is the only time you’ll see her doing so voluntarily.

What Hillary cares about is money and power. The latter more than the former, but as much money as she can get to acquire more power. accordingly the only people she cares for are gullible rich people. And even then, the caring isn’t sincere. She must drive away from Hollywood events laughing her fool head off at the naivety exhibited by the entire entertainment industry. But hey, they’re famous and have big bucks. They live in nice houses and dress well; so she much prefers their company to anyone else’s, save Wall Street executives living in the Hamptons.

As I stated in an earlier post, Clinton doesn’t care about anyone south of Manhattan and anyone not wealthy enough to live there.

I could go on all day about myths here; Ted Cruz’s religion, Bernie Sanders’ understanding of Denmark, John Kasich’s sincerity. They are all BS. And we all know it. And yet, a third of us in each party, have chosen to believe the BS we are being fed and beg for more. That is enough to keep the two worst candidates in our history on a path to nomination. It virtually guarantees Mrs. BJ will be our next president.

But there is one more myth I’ll hit on. It is the most important myth; and the most disturbing. This is how I first approached the myth in a previous post:

As of this week I am beginning to suspect the FBI of slouching toward the Clinton vortex of corruption.

We have heard FBI Director Comey say repeatedly that the FBI was apolitical and above reproach on issues political. Then, oddly, we hear that same thing repeatedly from the Agent heading up the terror investigation in San Bernardino. Why the hell would he say that? He is investigating a multiple homicide.

I am beginning to suspect that we are being inoculated [by the repetition of the phrase “the FBI is apolitical”] in preparation of the announcement that no charges will be recommended by the FBI.

This would, of course, be ridiculous. No competent law enforcement officer can say that there has been no crime committed here. And those crimes are serious. The only question is how many.

It is now late April. Clinton will soon have the nomination sewn up. Clearly, Comey has been given orders to slow-walk this investigation. They had enough evidence to arrest Clinton the day they discovered she had a private server in home, on which she held official information. But Comey is allowing his people to be used, their offices disgraced, by political hacks. I suppose that makes him a hack as well.

Oddly, this points back to the media carrying Trump. They cover his every word, no matter how stupid, while the most scandalous criminal in American political history cruises toward the White House. They make Trump the story, not Clinton.

And 60% of you shrug your shoulders. I am ashamed of what we have become.

From Whence Cometh the Gap?

Often, of late, we’ve heard our two socialist candidates, Bernie Sanders and Bill Clinton’s criminal wife, speak of the growing gap between the rich and middle class. They don’t even say “rich and poor” anymore.

The fact is there is a growing gap in wealth between the two cohorts. But not for the reasons these two dishonest people will tell you. (I’ll go out on a limb and say that Bernie may not be dishonest, just ignorant of economic realities.) They will say it is because the government doesn’t have enough control over the free market and people have made other people poor out of greed. The oil companies for example will charge what the market will allow and sell you your gas, thereby making you poor while they reap – gasp – a profit!

This, and all other examples of free market activity, are not the reason for the growing disparity in our wealth. All market activity, when you subtract damage done by government interference, is good for both parties and contributes to the wealth of both participants.

Just look at my fuel example. The left is forever talking about the greed of the oil industry. But while the companies make about 2% on a gallon of gas, our bloated government (state and federal, sometimes local) takes 15%. While I am sure greed is a personal attribute most human beings share, if the oil companies acted on that greed, they’d shut the tax man out of the equation.

So what has caused the growing gap in wealth we see today?

I could answer that question and have several times, here and in my book, 16 20 24. But I have answered as a common sense commentator. I will let Kyle Bass of Hayman Wealth Management answer that for you. Best you hear it from an expert this time. Somehow, common sense becomes “more true” when conveyed by an “expert”.

In an appearance on Wall Street Week today, 17 April 16, Bass pointed out the artificiality of the “strong” market is caused by cheap or free money made available to Wall Street banks, who then pump it into the stock market, maintaining artificially high prices. It goes without saying that being the ones who set market trends they are the ones who see a healthy return on their “investment”, made sweeter by the fact the government supplied the investment money.

This is not to say that the companies selling the stock are bad companies. But their fundamentals vs the capacity for risk on the part of the big investors don’t reflect real market reality. In other words, if a bank was playing with money they didn’t get from the government at, say 1%, they’d be much more cautious about what they invested in and would have to know they would make a much higher return to make the buy worthwhile.

Don’t believe me, look at the volatility we see these days. Do you think it is because all CEOs are manic/depressive? No! It is a result of big buys with free money causing the price of a stock to start to rise. Smaller investors and computer buy signals initiate a migration to the stock. The big, government backed, first buyer then sells after a healthy (sometimes considerable) return and the price falls. Woe betide those late to the game; they lose again!

But more interesting is the future we see with past as prologue.

Back in 2006, this very same Kyle Bass, stood in the board room of Bear Sterns, the second major company to be crushed by the 2008 crash, and basically predicted their demise from said crash. Over 90 minutes he outlined their risk and exposure to unsecured credit default swaps and derivatives. A friend and former colleague at BS told him his presentation was fascinating and that he prayed to god he was wrong. We now know, Bass wasn’t wrong.

As we would see, the real estate market was floating on a sea of worthless paper created by the government’s interference in the sale of homes. When banks, insurance companies and investment houses could no longer carry the risk of this paper (despite the fact that the government was buying it from everybody to keep the game going) the gravy train rolled to a stop and those exposed took a pounding.

The government’s response to a crash of its own making? Why, make the banks whole again. To accomplish this, they did two things. The first was to steal $800,000,000,000 from the American taxpayers and handed it to the banks. This was the greatest swindle in all of history. The second step was to replace the phony government money pouring into the mortgage industry with phony government money pouring into the equities markets. They called it Quatitative Easing (QE). After what they called QE3, they stopped using the name and continued to print funny money and giving it to Wall Street.

Companies no longer need to invest cash holdings. They can use the near zero government money. If they lose, so what, borrow more and play the market again. If they just made three percent on a deal, that was more than double the interest rate they were paying their co-conspirators in the government. Borrow again and play again.

This is what causes the illogical volatility we see in the market. Investment XYZ takes funny money created by the Fed. It makes a huge buy on Company ABC. This could be a very good company or just the healthiest horse in a glue factory. It doesn’t matter much. The big buy is read by computers programmed to react to such moves. This triggers automatic buys across the market. The stock starts to climb. At a prearranged point, or when the stock starts to look wobbly Investment bank XYZ begins to divest itself of the stock, taking profits with it. Company ABC’s stock settles back toward it’s previous market value.

We now have 8 years of people playing the market this way (not investing based on fundamentals and real risk). Entire business models are now built on this unethical bond between investor and the state. Traders are losing the expertise needed to trade legitimately. That is why every time the Fed hints at pulling the banks from the tit, the markets take a shit.

What all this amount to is the rich get richer from the availability of corrupt cash from the government and an endless string of short term byuing and selling of stocks. Meanwhile, the poor get poorer due to the lack of productive activity in the larger economy.

The economy is not healthy. And a busy stock market doesn’t make it so. The stock market, as it would be running right now, if cut off from the near-free funny money, would be a reflection of the real conditions of the economy. It would be in collapse and chaos.

You should fervently hope you won’t experience that chaos and collapse soon. At least not before we get rid of all the corrupt, job-killing politicians we have inside the beltway. So long as they survive, we move closer to the next one or two gigantic bubbles [1. I haven’t mentioned the student loan bubble.] bursting with no safety net.

A Love Letter to SC, et al. Dump the Cults! Part I

If you have friends and people in your social network from South Carolina, Nevada or the SEC states, please send this to them. What follows needs to be said and no one is saying it.

Let me first address the black citizens of South Carolina and upcoming primary states.[1. Note I didn’t patronize you with the politically correct term “African-American”. Vanishingly few of you have ever been to Africa, much less been born there. And only a slightly larger number would know anything substantial about the continent. I used the term “black” because that is a more common term for individuals whose genetic code has provided them with a deeper skin tone than mine, for example. There, our differences end. And I am not going to use an “infantilizing” term to win you to my argument. I’ll let the argument stand on its own.] You are being played. I can see from man-on-the-street interviews that some are seeing through the deception, but I worry that many are not.

I have been listening to the Clinton campaign talking about their “Black firewall” in South Carolina. Really? Is this the same woman who invited the same husband to this campaign who last time wrote off SC because “afterall, they voted for Jesse Jackson'”? The same husband who excoriated Ted Kennedy’s support of Obama saying, “C’mon! Five years ago he’d have been serving us coffee!”? Bill Clinton’s mentors in politics are J. William Fulbright and Orval Faubus. Clinton’s words, not mine. If he has an interest in a black voter in the South it is what he can get from you.

While we are on the subject, would you leave your daughter alone in the same room with this candidate’s husband? Of course you wouldn’t. He doesn’t share your values. He has no respect for women. He couldn’t care less if come next Sunday, you all slid into a sink hole.

And of the candidate; what single action has she ever taken (other than just today meeting with a religious charlatan, who happens to share your skin tone, in New effing York) that has in any way impacted your life in a productive way? None, of course. Meeting the criminal tax dodger was a ham-handed stunt to make you think she’s your gal. Yes, she really does assume you are stupid.

In fact the most significant thing she has done, in an official capacity, was to make you and the country you live in less secure through criminal use of unsecure communications as Secretary of State. And she did this while soaking rich people, foreign politicians and foreign governments of money in exchange for influence. All this while she was supposed to be looking after our international standing as SecState. She has nothing to point to, while in office, other than the corruption and failure mentioned above.

As far as her interests in Carolina black folk are concerned, her interests have never run further south than the southern most office building on Wall Street.

For decades now, the Democratic party has built within itself a cult of ownership over the minority vote. Despite years of resistance to the first three Civil Rights Acts initiated by the Eisenhower administration, despite those only having passed by consistent and overwhelming Republican support, despite the fact that Johnson had to cash in all his political chips with Democrats to finally see it passed, they have held a rather substantial portion of the minority electorate. For decades, places where Democrats are the strongest, the people (especially minorities, most especially black Americans) are the least heeded and most bereft of success. But his year is unique.

I am not a fan of the term “social justice”. All societies have codes of justice.  I believe the only form of “social justice” is a society where all are permitted the dignity of self fulfillment and where the government gets the hell out of the way so that can happen.

But if you believe that social justice is having an ever-growing nanny state which lives your life for you and keeps you in a stigmatized bubble of dependency, then your candidate is Bernie Sanders. His thoughts on economics might be fatally flawed, but he represents himself truthfully. He is the real deal. Hillary is a heartless cypher who will say anything to be elected and works only for her own advantage. She can’t even fall back on an honorable, if flawed, set of personal standards. She has no standards.

So this year, leave the cult. Quit marching to their beat. Hell, don’t even march to mine, although I wish you would. Stand up and tell the cult leaders you are making your own decisions from now on.

HEY! Check out my kick-ass TV commercial!

It's Time to Arrest Hillary Ramrod Cinton!

The greatest advantage HRC has in keeping her campaign alive, and her old ass out of jail, is the half-hour news cycle and citizens with the attention span of a puppy in a yard full of squirrels.

News programs these days are loaded with little more than teasers about what is actually happening in the world. By cranking out short segments and repeating them over and over all day, Fox, CNN, the networks, etc. give the appearance of doing their jobs. They never have to really dig or layout complex stories and do any REAL analysis of what they are reporting. The kind of analysis you will see here and now. What I am about to discuss is correct and based on facts released by the Intel IG, the State Dept. and – stupidly – by HRC, herself. There is much more out there, but the people with the connections and resources to pursue it are too lazy or morally corrupt to do so.

With just this episode – there have been other very serious offenses committed by HRC, personally – crimes have been committed that make anything Nixon did vanish in significance. But the FBI drags its feet and those in a position to inform the public are simply taking talking points and released documents and passing them along with no real effort expended.

Some of the talking heads at Fox News are fond of saying that this steady drip, drip of news will hurt Clinton. That’s preposterous. She and her friends at State are controlling the flow to keep the story at a very low boil hoping to make her nomination a fait accompli, and any effort to undo it, a political conspiracy. The FBI slow-walking the investigation makes them complicit already. Without an informed electorate to deal with, they’ll continue running interference for Clinton.

If we are to avoid having an actual criminal running for president in the general election, this story must be exploded in the press and explained from the beginning up to the present, so people can finally see what this woman has done to sully herself and her office. Hillary Clinton must be placed under arrest. There is more than enough evidence to do that. More charges can always be added later as more emails are recovered from the server she “slicked” to hide evidence. Yes, another criminal offense.

I’ll give you a “for instance” regarding the FBI’s complicity on this matter. If it were discovered that I, while working in my previous job, had a computer at home, on which I conducted sensitive government business without having it properly authorized, I’d have been immediately arrested and my house would have been torn apart until every speck of evidence was gathered by investigators. I would have been immediately charged with crimes for simply having and using the computer at home. It would be a slam dunk.

If, in the course of the investigation, it was discovered that I had classified information or Privacy Act information or just For Official Use Only (FOUO) information on that computer, the charges would simply be laid on as they came to light. This would be done by honest investigators to prevent me from tampering with evidence or taking a runner.

By failing to treat HRC like any other criminal suspect, having caught her red-handed with the goods, the FBI not only gave her the opportunity to destroy evidence, leaving to doubt if we will ever get all the information she compromised, but they have allowed the story to fester and her lies to gain steam in the public eye.

And here’s how the criminal suspect is taking advantage of the time the FBI has provided.

There is an ever-evolving set of talking points used to cover up or play down Clinton’s crimes against the citizens of these United States. Many of the older points listed in a brilliant, earlier post are still recycled and regurgitated. But unscrupulous mouth-pieces also keep an ear out for new ones they are expected to obediently parrot on behalf of BJ Bill’s wife.

Here are two from last weekend.

First, Clinton’s minions are claiming that the State Department’s withholding of the 22 new, incriminating emails was a case of “over-classification run amuck.” Really?

Well, let’s think about that.  I will allow for the fact that most Clinton supporters do very little thinking. Those that do only think of ways of lying to themselves or others in order to keep this criminal’s political hopes alive.

We are told neither the hag nor her campaign have anything to do with the emails being released. Okay, well then how would they know the content of the 22 Top Secret, unreleased emails well enough to make a judgement as to the value of their classification? She is either lying because she doesn’t know which of the thousands of classified documents she released onto the internet were being withheld by State, or the Department of State is allowing her team to review the ones being released, thereby collaborating in the (criminal?) contempt of a judge’s requirements.

Another phony line comes from Erikka Knuti of Purple Strategies.[1.Do you like how they do that? “Purple” as if to say, “We’re not blue (Democrat) or red (Republican). We’re purple, for all the people, promoting understanding and civility. Yeah, right.] Her talking point? “All of this (the server, the cell phone, the passing of classified information) was perfectly legal in 2009.”

There is only one tiny problem with that statement: It is completely untrue.

In 2009, if you wanted to work remotely with government information there was an intense procedure that had to be followed. Any device (lap top, desk top, hand-held) would be government property. An official IT person charged with the task, would have to take the device out of the box, and make it compliant with government programs. That would not be the IT guy you talked into coming to your house and working under the table, without the proper authorization.

All work done on any of these devices would be through a government network, of the proper classification ONLY. All emails would go through the same network and be held AUTOMATICALLY on government servers. While you can say a server is just another computer, it doesn’t allow for the procedures to be sidestepped. They are there to protect the employee (even the Secretary of State) and the information for the purposes of security, history and oversight.

Ignorance of these facts, as anyone who has ever taken training, as HRC did, in the handling of sensitive information, IS NOT AN EXC– USE. Nor is, “I forgot”, or “It was done for convenience”, nor are any of the other myths the Clinton drones are pushing.

The “just for convenience” line is an example sine qua non of the blindingly arrogant way in which BJ Bill’s wife conducts her affairs. Instead of carrying two small devices – her own for private messages – and one owned and provided by the government, for official business, Clinton expects people to believe she found it convenient to wire her house to hell and gone, pay for expensive computer equipment, bring a guy home from work to do unauthorized work, pay a higher utility bill, pay two companies to back up her server (neither of which was cleared to store the information) and coach others to commit crimes by cutting and pasting classified information into unclassified documents in order to send them along to HRC.[2. We have that last tidbit, her tutoring others to break the law, in writing.] This was all more convenient than carrying two small devices.

Even if you overlook the lie about numbers of devices – she carried two and possibly three – the fact remains she expected this “convenience” lie to be believed no matter how ridiculous the facts made it look.

The evidence would indicate that this woman intentionally ignored the law, set up a private server and intentionally shielded her work as an official of these United States from oversight and historical protection. In doing so, it becomes clearer every day that she did so to the endangerment of people’s lives and the degradation of our national security.

Worst of all, she had a cadre of enablers, including the President of the United States.

A comical side note: On 3 Feb, speaking on CNN, this lying creep said that the vast right-wing conspiracy is still the problem here, going all the way back to 1993 with her and BJ Bill lying for years about his abuse of women. The present day right-wing conspirators include the slow-walking FBI and an Obama appointee.

2/5/16: Last night, the thing said if she is to be investigated, others MUST be as well. So…Powell and Rice had spillage so what if I loaded an unsecured server with thousands of classified documents. Is that the new defense?

In trying to quantify and detail her level of contempt toward the American people, language fails.

Another Love Letter to the Left.

Update: Watching the polls, I have to give proper respect to a growing number of Democrats who are showing real character and are no longer supporting Hillary just because they were ordered to do so by the thought police. Well done to all. I mean that sincerely.

When I was a kid, my mother worked for the Democrats. My parents were FDR fans who once had the opportunity to drive his son to our hometown from the airport – big stuff for a small-town couple.

A man named Joe Burleson would come by the house a lot during election seasons. He organized the distribution of leaflets and saw to providing poll monitors (a job my mother did every election, in all weather). I’m sure Mr. Burleson did more, but I don’t recall the details. He was a nice man.

I do remember that as I got older, I started to ask him questions about politics. I asked the difference in the parties, how hard it was to get elected to an office and so on. I also remember him being different from other Democrats as I understood them to be. The party was multi-faceted in those days. Everybody from local business people to early hippies to hard-nosed blue-collar types were a part of the mix and discussion was lively.

It’s not that way anymore. The only “business” people on the left nowadays are looking to the government to protect them from competition. They don’t really give a hoot in hell about issues. They just want to purchase a politician or two. The free-spirited hippies are now the thought Nazis running the party and everyone else is expected to fall into line lest they be labeled a hater, a liar, a scab or worse. It’s a pretty lock-step affair.

And the standard-bearer is someone without scruples, who will sign on to any idea, use anyone and throw anyone under the bus in order to garner more personal power. Does she care about the “war on women”? Not on your life. But it sounds good.

I started to believe that there was nothing, and possibly no one, in Democrat politics left to respect. Then, almost out of nowhere comes Bernie Sanders. He is a brash, sometimes cranky, unapologetic Socialist. I am fairly confident that he doesn’t understand how his ideology is in itself a corrupting influence. That, in a weird way, makes him more appealing to someone like me.

If Sanders were elected President, I (libertarian, fiscal conservative) would be disappointed, but would count myself as the loyal, if strident, opposition.

His chief opponent, HRC, is a complete contrivance of party and press. Real excitement for her candidacy exists only in the minds of Clinton doctrinaires, the press (often the same creature) and her staff. If you see her interviewed, you’d think the nation was on fire to see her elected and this illusion has been pushing the poles lately. Yet she still has a hard time filling even the smallest venues. That’s because many already think they have to hold their noses and vote for her. More on why in a minute, but that is the reason I am most bewildered by the modern lefty.

Who the hell says you must be so damned obedient? Look at Sanders again. Look at the folks who have ventured out to listen to him – by the thousands. Observe how steadfast he is to his principles. Can you say that about Hillary?

No, of course not. The fact is she hasn’t carried out a single post in government honorably or effectively. And that is not me talking. Every aspect of her political life has resulted in the need to lie, obfuscate, apologize or rationalize in order to justify her pending coronation.

(REUTERS/Brendan McDermid)

I’ll give you one example among hundreds. I have watched with amusement as this woman’s campaign trotted out the misogynist-in-chief to stump for her. I hear pundits ominously warn the right not to go after Bill for his rapes and dalliances because he is so popular, being the first black president and all.[1. An interesting take on the term, discussing the woman who coined it] But the key to this discussion is not Bill. It’s Hillary. While Bill was mindlessly slapping his meat on tables across the country from California to Arkansas and DC, Hillary took it upon herself to be the lead character assassin, directing low-life operatives to destroy the character and sometimes the lives of those Bill used or abused. [2. Details here from Hitchens, no wide-eyed conservative, he.] In the present argument, Hillary is the problem and is most deserving of scorn. This can’t be spun.

In order to get past this, real liberals, honest Democrats must pretend it never happened so they can justify falling into line with the rest of the cattle and voting for this wretched political creature.

Look, Sanders is a Socialist. When she is not street-walking for big money donors, so is Hillary. While I see such politics as utterly wrong-headed, I still can’t understand why so many on the left would still give their loyalty, much less their vote to someone so undeserving as Clinton.

I hope many on the other side of the political divide consider this soon. I hope so as fervently as I hope Donald Trump proves he is not just a fly in the ointment before Iowa. What are the chances of either, would you say?
